BTCCSquare news:

Markets.xyz has introduced $USOIL, a blockchain-based perpetual contract tracking the U.S. Oil Fund (USO), enabling 24/7 global trading with up to 10x leverage. The tokenized commodity expands access to oil markets beyond traditional hours, offering traders a tool to hedge against price volatility.

The funding rate mechanism adjusts dynamically: longs pay shorts in bullish markets (positive funding) while shorts pay longs during bearish trends (negative funding). Rates recalculate hourly based on an 8-hour benchmark, with a 5% annual base rate.

This follows Markets.xyz's earlier real-world asset tokenizations, including USBOND and January 2026's USOR token for direct oil-reserve exposure. The MOVE signals growing institutional interest in onchain commodities.
